As the oldest continuously active pipe band in the United States, the Holyoke Caledonian Pipe Band has been bringing the powerful, stirring sound of bagpipes and drums to events across western Massachusetts and beyond since 1909. From lively parades, weddings, and corporate events to memorials and funeral processions, our performances add a timeless blend of dignity, emotion, and celebration to any occasion. Founded by Scottish immigrants from the Holyoke Caledonian Benefit Club, the band debuted in the 1910 Fourth of July parade wearing the Ramsay Tartan. Over the decades, our uniform evolved—first to the Gordon Tartan, and today to the Royal Stewart Tartan in full Highland dress. Our talented pipers and drummers tailor every performance to suit the tone and spirit of your event, ensuring a truly memorable experience. While our membership proudly reflects strong Scottish roots, we welcome anyone with a genuine passion for piping and drumming to join our community. If you’re searching for a Massachusetts pipe band to bring tradition, excitement, and a touch of Scotland to your next gathering, the Holyoke Caledonian Pipe Band is ready to perform. 📧 Book us today: [email protected]
